Tools for Small Business.   Business Planning Page.   Interactive Business Planner.

This is your chance to become proficient at using business planning software, but some hours of effort will be required.

Start by studying the Introduction to the IBP. Then, as suggested on screen, print a copy of the Section Introduction and Topics, and Blank Copy of the Financial Tables.

  • Go to the Sign-in-Screen as a new user. Input your own username and password so that whatever you input will be stored on the internet confidentially.
  • Go to the Sample Plans. View/print or download to disk any sample business plan/s you desire.
  • Now you are ready to practice creating a plan. To start off you could use the basic information and data from any of the sample plans, or one of the completed plans discussed in assignments 4 or 6.  You do not have to complete all the templates in the interactive business planner. Compare your final IBP output with the one from which you derived your inputs.
  • If you have the input information you can proceed to create your own business plan.
